On this page
The Talk tab is where the machine learns your business. Everything downstream — the market read, the six scripts, the words on your booking page — comes out of these calls.
1. Starting a call
- Open the Talk tab.
- If more than one kind of call is offered, tap the one you want. The chosen card shows a picked stamp.
- Optional, once it already knows you: type a line in Anything specific? (optional) — for example a promotion you are running, or a slow season you want to fill.
- Tap Start the conversation (your first ever call reads Start the first conversation).
- Allow the microphone when the browser asks. The status line goes Connecting… then Connected. Just talk.
Only one call can run on your account at once. If you see Already on a call., close the other tab or device where a call is still open and try again.
2. What happens during it
Talk normally. Interrupt it, ramble, tell the story you always tell — that is the point. The status line flips between It is talking… and It is listening. while a timer counts up.
Plan on about twenty minutes for the first one. There is no time limit and no countdown.
- Say the words you use with customers, not the words you would put in an ad. The scripts are written out of your phrasing.
- If it asks something you have already covered, say so. It will move on.
- Leaving the Talk tab ends the call. There is no confirmation prompt.
3. Ending it, and what it takes away
- Tap End it.
- The status reads Call ended. Reading you back… while the transcript is written up. This takes a moment — stay on the page.
- When it finishes, the status reads It has you on file. and a What it took away block appears with the call's write-up: New since last time and You asked for.
- Tap Generate scripts from this to write six scripts out of what you just said. The button reads Writing in your voice… while it works, then drops you on the Scripts tab.
Below that, Conversations on file lists every past call. Each card carries a status chip — read, reading… or failed — and a Read it back button that opens the full transcript.
If a call says The write-up has not run yet., starting another conversation gets you a fresh call on file. It does not go back and finish the old one — that call keeps the status it has.
4. Coming back with something new
Come back any time something changes: a new service, a price, a season, a promotion. Nothing you have said before is thrown away — each call adds to the file, and the next batch of scripts is written out of the whole thing.
Use the Anything specific? (optional) box to point the call at what you want out of it.
5. Redoing the whole intake
Redo the whole intake walks the full first-call questions again. Use it when the business has changed enough that the file is stale. Nothing already on file is deleted — anything new updates what changed.
6. Answering by typing instead
Talking is better, because it captures how you actually sound. But every question can be answered by hand.
- Before your first call, the questions sit behind a Prefer typing? section on the Talk tab.
- Once anything is on file, the section is titled What it heard and stays open, so you can correct anything that reads wrong. Corrections stick — a later call will not undo them.
- Each question has Record and Type it. Once there is an answer, the second button reads Fix it.
- Record starts immediately; the button becomes Stop. Tapping Stop uploads it — there is no discard. Transcribing takes a minute or two and the chip reads transcribing meanwhile.
- Only one question can be recording at a time. Tapping Record elsewhere shows Finish the other recording first.
- Save answer with an empty box does nothing. Type something first.
7. When it will not connect
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Mic blocked — open the https:// address and allow the microphone. | Allow the microphone in your browser's address-bar permissions, then reload. On a phone the page must be on the https:// address. |
| Already on a call. | A call is open somewhere else on your account. Close it, wait a moment, start again. |
| Could not connect. | Usually the network. Try again; on hotel or office Wi-Fi, try a phone hotspot. |
| Transcript processing failed. | The call was saved but the write-up did not run, and it will not run later. Start another conversation to get a fresh one on file. |
