Billing and cancelling

Updated August 5, 2026

1. One plan

There is one plan, because there is one job. No tiers, no seats, no setup fee. Everything in the app is included: the conversation, the market read, the scripts, the filming, the cutting, publishing, and the booking page.

The current price and billing interval are shown on the Billing tab.

2. The trial

A card is taken when you sign up and nothing is charged during the trial. The Billing tab shows the exact date the first charge lands and how many free days you have. Cancel before that date and nothing is charged.

3. Reading the receipt

The Billing tab is drawn as a printed receipt. The stamp in the corner is your status:

StampMeans
TrialIn the free window. Nothing charged yet.
PaidActive and paid.
Payment failedThe last charge was declined. Update your card.
CanceledCancelled. The date access ends is shown underneath.
Unpaid / Incomplete / ExpiredThe subscription never completed or lapsed. Start it again from this page.
No planNo subscription on the account.

The totals block underneath is the plain-English version: what the plan costs, what is due, and when it renews.

4. Card, invoices, cancel

One button does all three: Card, invoices, cancel. It opens our payment provider's secure portal, where you can change the card, download invoices, or cancel.

  1. Open the Billing tab.
  2. Tap Card, invoices, cancel.
  3. In the portal, choose what you need. Cancelling there takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  4. Come back to the app. The Billing tab will show You have canceled. Access ends with the date.

If you have never started a plan, the button reads Start the 7-day free trial instead.

Cancelling does not delete anything

Your conversations, scripts and footage stay on the account. If you want them gone, use Delete account.

Cancelling also does not stop your Meta campaigns — those live in your own ad account. Pause them in the app before you cancel, or in Meta Ads Manager afterwards, otherwise they keep spending.

5. If a payment fails

You will see The last payment did not go through. Update your card and everything picks up where it left off. Open Card, invoices, cancel, update the card, and access resumes.

While a payment is outstanding, opening some screens drops you on Billing without warning. There is no message — the screen simply changes.

6. Ad spend is separate

The subscription and your advertising budget are two different things. Meta bills the daily budget straight to your own ad account. We never touch it and never mark it up. Cancelling here has no effect on money already spent at Meta.

7. Machine time

A Machine time card shows what the machine spent on you over the last 30 days — per feature, with a total. It is included in your plan; it is shown because you should be able to see it. Nothing there is billable to you.

8. Support tickets

  1. On the Billing tab, fill in What's this about? and Tell us what's going on. Both are required.
  2. Tap Send to support. You get Sent — we will get back to you.
  3. Replies appear under Your tickets, labelled Support or You.

There is no reply box on a thread yet — to add something, open a new ticket, or email info@memachine.me.

When reporting a problem, include what you tapped, what the screen said word for word, and whether you were on a phone or a computer.

9. Deleting your account

There is no undo

Deleting permanently erases your profile, intake answers, transcripts, scripts, footage and reports. Your Meta connection is revoked immediately and your subscription is cancelled.

  1. Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
  2. Tap Delete account….
  3. Type your account email exactly as prompted. The confirm button stays disabled until it matches.
  4. Tap Permanently delete my account. You are signed out.

Keep my account backs out of the confirm step at any point.

Campaigns already created in your own Meta ad account are yours and are not deleted — pause or delete those in Ads Manager.
